On August 21, Armenian Diaspora Minister Hranush Hakobyan will leave for Lebanon to participate in the events marking the 70th anniversary of the village of Anchar and 95th anniversary of Musaler defense.

Meetings with the Catholicos of the Great House of Cilicia, His Holiness Aram I and representatives of Armenian community are on the agenda.

During the visit, Minister Hakobyan will award several residents of Anchar with RA Diaspora Ministry medals for preservation of Armenian identity, charitable activity, public work and contributions to education development.

Following her Lebanon visit, the Diaspora Minister will depart for Aleppo to meet Armenian community representatives.
