Russia has allied responsibilities to all CSTO member states including Armenia, Russian president Dmitry Medvedev stated.

“The task of Russia as a major and most powerful regional state lies in preservation of peace and order,” RF leader told a joint news conference with RA President.

“Collective Security Treaty lists both responsibilities and possibilities for member states,” Medvedev stated.

Informal CSTO summit, hosting presidents of Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia and Russia kicks off in Yerevan today.
