Armenian refugees from Baku being exiled from Moscow?

Chairman of “For Civilian Rights” committee Andrey Babushkin has said that Armenian refugees from Baku are being exiled from Moscow.

As reported by Yerkramas newspaper, several thousands of Armenians found shelter in Moscow after the pogroms in Baku. Some of them were settled in Yuzhnaya Hotel, which was privatized in 1995. Presently, the hotel administration is moving the refugees to the town of Furmanov (Moscow region).

“We call on the Moscow authorities to address the issue and help about 350 refugees who were deprived of accommodation and legal status,” Babushkin said.
