Andrei Areshev: Armenia-Russia cooperation should not be limited to bilateral relations

South Caucasus security is a complicated issue; efforts undertaken by Moscow to normalize regional situation are by no means indicative of weakening Moscow-Baku cooperation, Strategic Culture Foundation director Andrei Areshev stated.

As he noted at Yerevan-Moscow spacebridge, Moscow’s efforts promote Russia’s regional presence at the same time serving regional players’ interests.

“Armenia-Russia cooperation should not be limited to bilateral relations; third parties should also be attracted. This can be made possible in circumstances precluding resumption of hostilities,” the Russian expert concluded.
