Backing Azerbaijan in its own interest, Georgia will vote for the resolution on Nagorno Karabakh in the UN General Assembly, head of Mitq analytical center said.

Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan also noted that once Georgia and Azerbaijan form a confederation, Georgia will be included in the list of Armenia’s enemies.

“Georgia is searching for allies to defend its interests. Azerbaijan signed an agreement with Turkey, Armenia enjoys strategic partnership with Russia while Georgia has remained alone. Under the circumstances, Armenian diplomacy should take action to try to win Georgia over to its side,” he said.
