Armenian Diaspora capable to influence international processes

Not only centuries-old friendly ties between Armenia and Russia but also the great potential of the Armenian community of Russia laid the foundation for Armenian-Russian allied relations, president of Russian-Armenian Commonwealth said.

“Appearing as a bridge between the two states, the potential of the Armenian Diaspora in Russia is, however, not used completely,” Yuri Navoyan said during “Armenian Diaspora of Russia: Challenges of Time” conference.

At the same time, he emphasized that Diaspora is a power capable to influence international processes.

“Armenia views Diaspora as a force which can strengthen the country’s positions at the international arena,” Navoyan said.
