RA State Engineering University to compensate shortage of students through correspondence students

The State Engineering University of Armenia (SEUA) will compensate shortage of students through correspondence students. SEUA Rector Vostanik Marukhyan said during a meeting with first-year students that the number of correspondence students will make 500 people.

1221 students entered the State Engineering University of Armenia in 2010 that is 299 people less than in 2009. Meanwhile, students basically preferred the departments of computer systems and informatics, radio engineering and communications, cybernetics and energy.

Vice Speaker of the Armenian parliament, Chairman of SEUA Board Samvel Nikoyan, as well as Director of Synopsis Armenia company Hovik Musayelyan also participated in the meeting with students.
