Ahmet Davutoglu: Turkey will do its best to achieve peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict

Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu visited provinces of Igdir and Van, as well as Armenian-Turkish border.

At news conference, Davutoglu spoke of Protocols on normalization of Armenia-Turkey ties, signed a year ago. “We continue working towards opening of eastern border, with results to be announced after the oncoming meetings,” the Foreign Minister said, expressing hope for establishment of peace in Caucasus.

Commenting on regional conflicts, Davutoglu voiced his concern about Karabakh conflict, leading to many deaths. “Turkey will do its best to achieve peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict,” Haberler cited him as saying.
