Youth government of Armenia to launch its work in September

The first sitting of Armenia’s youth government will take place in September 2010.

Board member of the Youth Party of Armenia Artak Khachatryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that the youth government will be established according to the RA government’s model. 18 “ministers” and “deputy ministers” will be elected among the best senior students of the RA leading higher education institutions. Meanwhile, ministers of the youth government will be elected once per two months.

“Members of the youth government will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the RA government’s activity. Moreover, during their tenure the “ministers” should draft their projects, offers and amendments to be submitted to the government. Young specialists, whose offers are endorsed by the government, will be offered jobs in ministries,” said Artak Khachatryan.
