Instead of sending diplomatic notes to UN member countries, Armenia seems to be satisfied with bare statements regarding the resolution on Karabakh submitted by Azerbaijan to the IN General Assembly, chairman of the Democratic Party of Armenia said.

Aram G. Sargsyan also noted that the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair countries will vote against the resolution, although it would be more correct to issue a formal statement against adoption of such resolution.

Referring to ceasefire violations at the line of contact between the NKR and Azerbaijani armed forces, he said that Armenia should shoot a documentary about what is really taking place.

“We need such a film as a part of information struggle,” Sargsyan said.

As to Heritage party draft bill on recognition of Artsakh Republic's independence, he noted that not independence but the legality of independence should be recognized.

“Artsakh’s way towards independence was irreproachable,” Sargsyan concluded.
