Armen Ashotyan: Education Ministry managed to solve some problems this year

The Armenian Ministry of Education and Science assures that a number of urgent problems have been solved by the beginning of the academic year.

“Despite the reduced number of students in secondary schools, we avoided layoffs,” Minister Armen Ashotyan said.

He emphasized that all school students will be provided with textbooks for free.

Minister Ashotyan also informed that a package of bills on introduction of amendments to the RA law on language and law on education will be debated during the upcoming parliamentary session.
