Stage 7 studio established in Yerevan to teach acting skills, psychology and martial arts

11.09 Stage 7 actors’ studio, founded by actors Artashes Alexanyan and Tigran Nalchajyan, will start operating in Yerevan in October.

Students of Stage 7 will study acting skills, psychology and martial arts.

“We want to assist Armenia’s cinema production and theater through the initiative,” said Artashes Alexanyan.

According to him, many people in Armenia want to become actors, but lack funds to enter relevant education institutions. Thus, the studio founders decided to provide young people with the opportunity to study at more affordable fees.

For her part, psychologist Karine Nalchajyan noted that there are talented actors who lack education for their improvement.

Chairman of the Armenian Federation of Jeet Kune Do Artyusha Gandoyan said that actors need to be in a good physical shape, as it is required by their difficult profession. He said that students of the studio will study also martial arts – Jee Kune Do, Aikido, Wing Chun, etc.
