On September 11, Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan met with founder of Karot Armenian festival, Chairman of the Armenian Culture Development Fund Metso Igityan.

During the meeting, Igityan noted that Karot festival recently organized in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh has been positively estimated by Armenian and foreign art men and connoisseurs of art. He added that festival successfully fulfills its mission aimed at dissemination of the Armenian culture at an international level.

The two men also discussed the possibility of organizing Karot festival in France next time, as Hovik Abrahamyan made such an offer to world-known actor Gérard Depardieu. Mr. Abrahamyan expressed readiness to support the festival’s organization process.

Metso Igityan handed over souvenirs to the RA NA Speaker on behalf of the Armenian Culture Development Fund, the RA NA press service reported.
