Armenian freestyle wrestler Ruslan Basiyev was beaten by Iranian Fardin Valadi on the final day of the World Wrestling Championships in Moscow.

Suren Markosyan defeated Austria’s Philipp Crepaz but then lost the fight to Iran’s Saeed Goudarzi. Zhirayr Hovhannisyan was defeated by Garzón Caballero of Cuba.

Armenian freestyle wrestlers will return to Yerevan on September 13.
