Federico Vitali and Vrej Kassouny work on joint animation project

French animator Federico Vitali, the author of Guano and Lava-Lava series of short films, said that he is more accustomed to big festivals, thus he was very interested in being present at ReAnimania festival, meeting young people and students.

“Besides, I like the format of this festival, which allows communicating easily with great people, who arrived here as guests,” Vitali told a press conference in Yerevan.

He added that he will readily cooperate with Armenian animators.

“Currently, we are working on an interesting animation project about adventures of his and my personages. Of course, it will be a short film,” said founder and Director of ReAnimania international animation festival Vrej Kassouny.

Federico Vitali told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that among Armenian filmmakers he knows Henri Verneuil and Artavazd Peleshyan. “I familiarized myself with Peleshyan's works in France. He is well-known there, especially in art schools,” said Vitali.
