Hayk Babukhanyan: present-day Azerbaijan is a fascist country

Chairman of the Constitutional Right Union Hayk Babukhanyan has said that present-day Azerbaijan is a fascist country, where people are awarded for killing Armenians.

“Given this fact, Armenia should withdraw from the negotiation process over the Karabakh conflict resolution,” Babukhanyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

“Yerevan should not hold talks with Baku, unless forces disposed to negotiations with Armenia come to power in Azerbaijan,” he said.

Babukhanyan also noted that Armenia should raise the issue of Armenian and NKR’s territories occupied by Azerbaijan. “Besides, the problem of Armenian refugees should be solved. 500,000 Armenians, who were evicted from their houses in Azerbaijan and deprived of property, have not received compensation yet,” he said.

“Armenia should submit a range of resolutions to international institutions on the matter and punish Baku for the genocide it committed against the Armenian population,” Babukhanyan concluded.
