TEDx Yerevan announces speakers

After a thorough selection process, the organizing team has come up with the final list of the speakers for TEDx Yerevan to be held on September 25.

According to the event official website, co-founder of Reddit.com popular site and founder of Breadpig social enterprise Alexis Ohanian, famous designer Michael Aram, globetrotter and pilgrim Hrair Hawk Khatcherian, CEO of Synopsys Armenia Rich Goldman, founder of TNS Magasin Siemon Scamell-Katz and others will make presentations in Yerevan.

As a whole, 20-25 presentations will be made during the conference.

TED (Technology Entertainment Design) is a nonprofit organization devoted to Ideas Worth Spreading. Started as a four-day conference in California 25 years ago, TED has grown to support those world-changing ideas with multiple initiatives. The annual TED Conference invites the world's leading thinkers and doers to speak for 18 minutes. Their talks are then made available, free, at TED.com. TED speakers have included Bill Gates, Al Gore, Jane Goodall, Elizabeth Gilbert, Sir Richard Branson, Nandan Nilekani, Philippe Starck, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Isabel Allende and UK Prime Minister Gordon Brown.
