North-South investment program tender winner determined

The North-South Road Corridor Investment Program Governing Council has held a meeting chaired by Council head, Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, the governmental press office reported.

The participants discussed and approved the draft contract to be signed with the consultant eligible for assessment of land and real assets subject for alienation on Ashtarak-Talin road section under the second stage of the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program.

North-south road corridor investment program implementing entity chief executive director Felix Pirumyan reported back the results of bids invited to select the first-stage construction activity monitoring entity and a consultant for the second-stage preparative work. Approving the winner of the tender, the Governing Council endorsed the composition of the group to hold talks with the successful bidder.

The Governing Council next discussed and approved the tender documents for Yerevan-Ashtarak 11.71 km-long road section reconstruction works considering all of the proposed changes and amendments. The Council further approved the technical proposal for an independent agency to monitor the second-tranche (Ashtarak-Talin) and third-tranche (Talin Gyumri) activities under the North-South Road Corridor Investment Program.
