To mark the 19th anniversary of independence in Armenia, the honorary consul of Armenia to Syria Suren Vardanyan was awarded with Movses Khorenatsi medal, in accordance with presidential decree.

By another decree of President Serzh Sargsyan, the title of the People’s Artist of Armenia was bestowed on actors of Sundukian National Academic Theater Azat Gasparyan and Karen Janibekyan.
