The overall passenger transportation via Zvartnots airport totaled 1,064,450 people in January-August 2010 against 938,841 people during the same period last year.

Over 502,241 people arrived in Zvartnots airport over the first eight months of 2010 against 448,565 people during the same period last year, the press service of the General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia reported. At that, the number of departed passengers totaled 560,209 people against 490,276 in 2009.

3,310t and 2,192t of cargo were imported to and exported from Armenia in January-August 2010 against 3,321t and 2,301t during the same period in 2009 respectively.

The number of take-offs and landings at Zvartnots totaled 6,400 in January-August 2010 against 5,527 during the same period in 2009.
