Chance to travel to Vienna in a piece of longest strudel in Yerevan

The longest in South Caucasus apple strudel is already baked and placed in front of Marriott Armenia Hotel in Yerevan.

The event is organized by Austrian Airlines and Marriott Armenia in the framework of Austrian Day initiated by the Hotel.

“We have already cut the strudel into pieces to be sold for AMD 500 for one. With each peace, we will hand over a coupon. The winner of the drawing, which will be held tonight, will receive two tickets to Vienna for the weekend,” Marriott Armenia Hotel Yerevan executive chef Klaus-Peter Krebs said.

“The tickets will be provided by Austrian Airlines. The winners will stay in Marriott Hotel Vienna. Besides, they will have an opportunity to attend Vienna museums for free,” added Zoltan Konsanszky, the hotel’s sales and marketing director.

Strudel is a type of layered pastry with a - most often sweet - filling inside, often served with cream. It is most often associated with Austrian cuisine but is also popular in German-speaking countries, Hungarian, Czech and Russian cuisines.
