Armenian Embassy in Baghdad to resume operation, Iraq to open Embassy in Yerevan

On September 23, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian met with his Syrian counterpart Walid Mouallem on the sidelines of the the 65th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The two men exchanged views on problems persisting in Middle East and South Caucasus and possible ways to resolve them.

The same day, Minister Nalbandian met with Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari. The top diplomats agreed that the Armenian Embassy in Baghdad will resume operation while Iraq will open Embassy in Yerevan, the RA MFA press service reported.
