Milliyet: failure to appoint ambassadors to Azerbaijan and Turkey can’t but affect U.S. interests

Failure to appoint ambassadors to important regional countries like Azerbaijan and Turkey can’t but affect Washington’s interests, according to Milliyet.

The Turkish newspaper supposes that U.S. President-nominated Matthew Bryza and Francis Ricciardone, who faced serious resistance of the Armenian lobby, are not likely to be approved by the full Senate.

Besides, due to November midterm congressional election, ambassadors will hardly be appointed before 2011, the article says.
