Speaker of Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan to pay official visit to Switzerland

On September 28, Speaker of the Armenian parliament Hovik Abrahamyan will arrive in Switzerland on a three-day official visit.

In Bern, Abrahamyan is scheduled to meet with President of the Council of States of the Swiss Federal Assembly Erika Forster-Vannini, President of the National Council of the Swiss Federal Assembly Pascale Bruderer Wyss, Swiss Foreign Minister Micheline Calmy-Rey, National Councilor and President of the Foreign Affairs Committee Christa Markwalder.

Besides, the Speaker of the RA National Assembly will meet with members of the Armenian-Swiss parliamentary friendship group.

On September 30, Hovik Abrahamyan will meet with representatives of the Armenian community of Switzerland, as well as will participate in a reception dedicated to the 19th anniversary of Armenia’s independence.

The Armenian delegation includes Chairman of the RA NA Committee on Health Care, Maternity and Childhood, Chairman of the Armenian-Swiss parliamentary friendship group Ara Babloyan and Vice-Chairman of the RA NA Standing Committee on Economic Affairs Vardan Bostanjyan, the RA NA press service reported.
