The town administration of Spilimbergo, Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy, will lay a park to be named Armenia 1925 next year.

As the head of the Armenian community of Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, Daniel Termezian, told a news conference in Yerevan on September 28, such a park was for the first time laid in Udine.

He also informed that the town administration will also consider recognition of the Armenian Genocide.

“The discussion is scheduled for September 30. Other cities and regions of Italy intend to follow this example,” Termezian said.
