Uzbekistan supports peaceful settlement of Karabakh conflict, mentioning Azeri “territorial integrity”?

A joint declaration was signed during the visit of Azeri delegation to Uzbekistan headed by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

The declaration emphasized the necessity of fast resolution of Karabakh conflict “based on preservation of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of Azeri borders, as well as relevant UN Security Council and OSCE resolutions.”

The parties stressed the importance of peaceful settlement of the conflict, urging to activate steps to resolve the issue, Uzbekistan Foreign Ministry press-service reported.

Uzbekistan is the member of Collective Security Treaty Organisation (CSTO), along with Armenia.
