Hrayr Mkoyan: we will try to avoid mistakes in match with Slovakia

Yerevan will host an UEFA Euro 2012 qualifier between the Armenia and Slovakia on October 8, 2010.

Armenian defender Hrayr Mkoyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that they showed a good football in the matches with Ireland and Macedonia.

“It does not matter with which team we are playing. We will try to avoid mistakes in the match with Slovakia, as any mistake might be a decisive one, as was the case in the match vs. Macedonia,” Mkoyan said, adding that the Armenian team should use all opportunities to score a goal.

Defender Artak Yedigaryan said for his part that they have familiarized themselves with the rival’s style and are ready for the match. “Unfortunately, we gained only one point in the two matches, but we will try to improve the situation in the upcoming matches vs. Slovakia and Andorra,” said Yedigaryan.

According to midfielder Karlen Mkrtchyan, the Armenia still stand a chance to improve their group results.
