ArmenTel (Beeline trademark) granted computers to five schools of rural communities in Ararat region of Armenia.
On October 8, Ararat region’s administration hosted a ceremony of granting computers to schools of Zangakatun, Lanjar, Lusashogh, Dashtakar and Shaghap, the company’s press office told PanARMENIAN.Net.
“The event is a part of our general strategy on support of education, children and youth, which we implement under the slogan – Bright Future with Beeline. I strongly believe that increase in education level in rural regions will secure a harmonious and sustainable development of the country as a whole,” CEO of ArmenTel CJSC Igor Klimko said.
In 2009-2010, ArmenTel equipped computer classes in dozens of Armenian schools, including the first interactive class of distant education to Yerevan school #55. Besides, the company implements a project on Internet provision to schools throughout the country and assists creation of a common network for educational institutions. Besides, ArmenTel CJSC provides educational institutions of the country with Hi Line service (broadband Internet based on ADSL technology) on advantageous tariffs.
