On October 12, Yerevan hosted EducationUSA Fair organized by the American Councils for International Education (ACTR/ACCELS). The following U.S. universities briefed Armenian students on their programs: the American University of Armenia, American University of Bulgaria, Hult Business School (London), Lynn University, State University of New York, Plattsburgh, University of South Carolina, University of Tulsa, etc.

Lectures on the U.S. educational system, application and selection process, as well as entrance exams were provided to participants.

The education fair is held in Yerevan for the 15th time. According to ACTR/ACCELS Senior Educational Adviser Gayane Grigoryan, the number of participants in the 3-hour fair totaled around 1,500 people previously. However, the organizers observed greater interest towards the event this year.

Gayane Grigoryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that business and art related specialties are the most popular among Armenian students.
