While on visit to Athens, Armenian delegation led by National Assembly speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with the deputy speaker of Hellenic parliament Ms. Rodoula Zisi, members of parliamentary committee for foreign relations and representatives of Armenia-Greece parliamentary friendship group.

At the meeting, Armenian parliamentary speaker emphasized the historic similarity between the two nations as well as the high level of interparliamentary cooperation.

He expressed hope for the oncoming visit of Armenian President to Greece to further simulate the development of economy ties and activate political dialogue.

The parties also focused on Armenia-Turkey relations and Karabakh conflict settlement, parliamentary press service reported.
