Deputy Director of the Institute of Pediatric Hematology, Professor Alexey Maschan arrived in Armenia within the framework of You’re Not Alone, Together We’ll Win social program.

In Yerevan, he examined 7 children with oncological diseases, inviting one of them to undergo further examination and treatment at the expense of the Institute.

At news conference in Yerevan, Professor urged public persons to help break the stereotype on children suffering from oncological diseases. “Children who’ve got a close view of death will turn out more resilient after they’re treated, gaining a right sort of motivation,” the doctor said.

The arrival of Alexey Maschan became the first step towards implementation of the program You’re Not Alone, Together We’ll Win, which aims at further involvement of doctors, public persons and cultural workers.
