Sisli district of Istanbul hosts a chess tournament in memory of Zhirayr Ohanian, former President of the Turkish Chess Federation, international arbiter and coach.

Turkish Chess Federation President Ali Nihat Yazici and Sisli Mayor Mustaga Sarigul attended the opening ceremony, bolsohays.com reported.

The event brought together 120 chess players.
