Arthur Javadyan: CBA will try to secure planned inflation rate by yearend

The Central Bank of Armenia will try to secure the 4±1.5% inflation rate envisaged by the 2010 national budget.

According to Javadyan, there were external shocks related to increase in prices for wheat, which have considerably affected the inflation rate in Armenia, “as bread and cereal products make significant share in our consumer basket.”

“We faced problems in agriculture, what has caused inflation,” said Javadyan.
