The U.S. hopes for ratification of the Armenian-Turkish protocols, Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs said.

“Washington believes that it will help establishment of peace and stability in the Caucasus,” Philip Gordon said, quoted by the Azerbaijani service of the Voice of America.

“Normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey as well as between Armenia and Azerbaijan is important for the United States,” he said.
