AN AGREEMENT ON RESTRUCTURING THE DEBT FOR THE NUCLEAR FUEL SUPPLIED BY RUSSIA HAS BEEN REACHED
. During Minister of Energy Karen Galustian's visit to Moscow, an agreement on restructuring the debt for the nuclear fuel supplied by Russia to Armenia was reached. The liquidation of 17 million-dollar debt is determined to begin in October this year. According to the Minister's words, the mechanisms of redamption are not clearly defined yet. During the talks held in Moscow, an agreement on acquisition of a new consignment of nuclear fuel for 14 million total was achieved. The Government intends to take this sum on credit in a commercial bank.
