A new Grant Thornton member firm launched activity in the Republic of Tajikistan on October 1, 2010.

The firm has been established with the support of Grant Thornton Amyot LLC, the Armenian Member of Grant Thornton International.

“We have recently registered our new subsidiary in Dushanbe, which is an important step towards developing our network throughout the region,” said Gagik Gyulbudaghyan, the Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Amyot LLC.

Gurgen Hakobyan, Partner of Grant Thornton Amyot, who has been appointed as the Managing Partner of Grant Thornton Tajikistan, commented: “Participation in international tenders helped us develop a client base in Tajikistan during the recent years. Currently our main objective is to develop the newly established company and acquire leadership on the market through increase of our technical and human resource capacity in Tajikistan.”
