Catholicos of All Armenians, His Holiness Karekin II received a delegation led by Governor of Rostov region of Russia Vasily Golubev.

During the meeting, His Holiness Karekin II stressed the importance of cooperation, expressing confidence for further development of relations between the two friendly nations.

Referring to his visit to Rostov region in 2008, he thanked the Russian authorities for their benevolent attitude towards the Armenian church.

For his part, Vasily Golubev briefed on the results of the visit to Armenia, the information service of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin reported.
