RF MFA sent Georgia a note on detainment of 4 Russian citizens accused of espionage

Georgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs has received a special note from Russian Foreign Ministry sent through mediation of Switzerland.

According to the note, Russia is demanding information on personal data of the 4 Russian citizens detained in Georgia on the charge of spying.

The source says Georgia will send the data to Russia in the nearest days.

The Ministry of Interior Affairs of Georgia detained 13 spy suspects in the mid October after a 4-year operation. 4 out of them are Russian citizens, InterPressNews reported.

The list of suspects includes two native Armenians, entrepreneurs Armen Gevorgyan and Ruben Shikoyan.
