BAT introduces system of trade through mobile phones in South Caucasus

British-American Tobacco (BAT) has introduced a system of trade through mobile phones – OPTIMUM – in Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.

The solution is based on industrial communicators of Motorola MC5574 and allows the company employees to connect to the Central server to obtain information from any corner of the world, using a protected internet connection, CDC Group of Companies, the system designer, reported.

BAT plans to automate the business process of direct delivery in the offices of its Caucasian distributors soon.
