Adult entrepreneurs doing business are the actual persons behind non-formal youth cults, according to Alexander Amaryan, the head of the Center for Aid and Rehabilitation to the Victims of Destructive Cults.

As he noted in a conversation with PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, the activities of youth cults are carefully planned out by their leaders who use the unknowing members of youth movements in pursuit of their own benefits.

Youth subcultures are rapidly expanding through Armenia, penetrating into the regions of the country from the capital city. Emo and Goth cults are the most widely spread youth subcultures in Armenia.
