The number of ceasefire violations at the line of contact between the Karabakh and Azerbaijani armed forces considerably decreased during the past week, although firing in the southeastern, eastern and northeastern direction was fixed.

According to the NKR Defense Ministry, the fact is conditioned by the election period in Azerbaijan, whose military leaders were busy with political affairs.
