A Disability Rights Protection Month to last till December 15 was launched in Armenia.

The event aims to increase awareness of the disabled issues and draw the employees’ attention to their work potential.

Screening of documentaries, TV programs on disability issues, as well as a flash mob featuring different articles of UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities will be held within action framework.

According to Armenian Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, over 180 thousand people with disabilities are recorded in Armenia as of today.
