Armenian businessmen plan construction of a spa center in the premises of Akhtamar Island.

To this end, negotiations have been launched with the chairman of Chairman of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Van (VATSO) Zahir Qandashoglu.

“The city of Gevas, where the spa center is to be constructed is in close quarters to Akhtamar. The city is a perfect site, offering an opportunity for good rest as well as a visit to Holy Cross church,” Milliyet cited VATSO chairman as saying.
