Chairman of the standing parliamentary committee on science, culture, youth affairs and sports, Republican Party member Artak Davtyan said that no new document on Karabakh will be signed unless Stepanakert rejoins talks.

“No resolution on the conflict settlement will be signed during the OSCE summit in Astana,” he said.

As to President Serzh Sargsyan’s refusal to attend the NATO summit in Lisbon, Davtyan said Azerbaijan does not miss a chance to spread its propaganda.

“After President Sargsyan denied participation in the summit, NATO Secretary General said the Alliance doesn’t have a role in the conflict resolution,” he reminded.

Davtyan labeled Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev as a deserter, who has never smelled power.

“Aliyev just threatens war. It’s a demonstration of his complexes,” he said.
