Armenian parliament speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with representatives of the Armenian community of Syria, RA NA press office reported.

“Thanks to the attitude of the friendly Syrian people, the Armenian community preserved its national identity and culture. Armenian-Syrian friendship is the best manifestation of dialogue between Christian and Muslin civilizations,” Abrahamyan said.

According to him, this evidences that the two nations attach utmost importance to spiritual and human values.
