Ruben Gabrielyan: through my works I voice protest against degradation of the society

On November 25, Yerevan hosted the opening of Armenian painter Ruben Gabrielyan’s exhibition.

As the painter noted in a conversation with a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, “through my works, I aimed to share my perception of the Bible, and voice protest against degradation of the society.”

Armenian poet Liparit Sargsyan, in turn, noted, “Artsakh is the historic motherland of the painter who was born in Baku. In his works Gabrielyan expresses his deep concern over Karabakh issue, drawing parallels between sufferings of Christ and Karabakh people.”

The exhibition featuring 41 works of the painter will last till December 1.
