Davutoglu to meet Clinton during his U.S. visit

On November 27, Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu started a four-day visit to the United States for talks on bilateral ties and regional issues.

Davutoglu is to meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, national security advisor Tom Donilon and the head of the Senate foreign relations committee, Senator John Kerry, Turkish Foreign Ministry statement said.

The minister is also to speak at Georgetown University and attend an event organised by Foreign Policy magazine to honour the world's “top 100 global thinkers”, a list drawn up by the publication on which he also figures.

Upon completion of his U.S. visit, Davutoglu will leave for Kazakhstan to participate in December 1-2 OSCE summit in Astana, Turkish media reported.
