Levon Hovsepyan: leaders of many states are only too well aware of Aliyev’s intellectual capacity

“Brilliant statements” by Azeri President Ilham Aliyev shouldn’t cause surprise, being a result of the latter’s unbalanced behavior, according to political research institute expert Levon Hovsepyan.

As he told a news conference in Yerevan, leaders of many states are only too well aware of Aliyev’s intellectual capacity to be surprise by the content of U.S. State Department cables.

“Possibly, some of the leaders will reconsiders their position upon declassification of cables,” the expert noted.

WikiLeaks released more than 250,000 US diplomatic cables that include candid views of foreign leaders and blunt assessments of security threats.

In some of them, Azeri President expresses unflattering opinion of Russian, Turkish, Iranian and Armenian authorities.
