On December 1, Moscow hosted a session of the CSTO Emergency Coordination Council (CECC) led by Russian Minister of Emergency Situations Sergei Shoigu.

Armenian Minister of Emergency Situations Armen Yeritsyan also participated in the session.

Creation of a common mechanism for reaction in emergency situations was discussed, with action plan endorsed and submitted for confirmation at December 10 CSTO meeting.

The plan will become the main policy document for the next 2 years.
