On December 4, Yerevan hosted a launch of From Outsourcing to Innovation conference within the framework of Armnet Awards Web Contest.

As Armenian Economy Minister Nerses Yeritsyan stressed during the opening ceremony, traditions formed in the sector of Information and Communication Technologies in Armenia, the rate of growth of the enterprises and the high level of educational system created favorable prerequisites for further development of the sector.

Representatives of Microsoft, Opera Software, Echo of Moscow radio station, Vkontakte.ru social network, RuTube.ru videoportal will speak at the conference.

Internet users selected Armnet Awards finalists through voting for the best websites during the first stage, while an international jury defined the winners during the second stage.

The results of the contest will be announced on the evening of December 4.
